Latest Technical Committee Updates

The OpenStack Technical Committee meets weekly to work through requests for incubation, to review technical issues happening in currently integrated projects, and to represent the technical contributors to OpenStack. OpenStack DefCore Process Flow: Community Feedback Cycles for Core [6 points + chart]

DefCore is an OpenStack Foundation Board managed process “that sets base requirements by defining 1) capabilities, 2) code and 3) must-pass tests for all OpenStack™ products. This definition uses community resources and involvement to drive interoperability by creating the minimum standards for products labeled OpenStack™.” Rob Hirschfeld details in a blog post what “community resources and involvement” entails. The Road To Paris 2014 – Deadlines and Resources

During the Paris Summit there will be a working session for the Women of OpenStack to frame up more defined goals and line out a blueprint for the group moving forward. We encourage all women in the community to complete this very short survey to provide input for the group.
