Jakub Pavlik‘s team created a Smart City in Pisek, using sensors in the cobblestone streets in the town to measure metrics like temperature. Pavlik and his team brought the project all the way to the Austin Summit, using it to measure CO2 flows of the 7,500 conference goers.
Superuser TV sat down with Pavlik to hear how the project got off the ground, what was done for the Summit and what this could mean for the future of the Internet of things.
You can also read more about it in the print edition of Superuser magazine, available at the Summit.
